Descrição

• Set the strategic technical direction for the product team • Drive, influence, and evangelize the organization’s architectural vision, strategy, and principles within the team • Participate in forums to evolve and advance the technical vision • Collaborate with Developers, Engineering Managers, SMEs, Test Engineers, Product Managers, Business Owners, and product stakeholders to drive customer outcomes • Direct technical governance of a highly visible product team • Develop proofs of concept and experiments based on team needs • Improve deployment processes, team velocity, and delivery quality across specialties • Manage risks and escalated priorities and resolve issues affecting production stability • Elevate team members and act as a force multiplier • Mentor, coach, and empower technical team members while developing complex technical solutions • Set and maintain standards for code quality, performance, and observability • Share knowledge with other Staff Software Engineers • Interview new hires and assess team members’ technical expertise • Drive quarterly and multi-quarter initiatives focused on stability, scalability, and compliance • Modernize Time Management applications and move them out of the monolith • Document complex configurations and identify edge cases earlier in development • Reduce production issues and data inconsistencies through root-cause analysis and durable fixes • Surface and proactively manage technical risk in critical calculation paths • Incrementally modernize legacy logic and technical debt without disrupting time accuracy, customer trust, or operational stability

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a technology-related field, or equivalent experience • Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design • Proficiency in multiple .NET Frameworks, including .NET Core • Strong C# experience • NoSQL experience with MongoDB/PostgreSQL • SQL Server experience • Profiling experience in high-transaction, large-dataset environments • Expertise designing, evolving, and owning high-usage domain APIs • Experience setting architectural standards and ensuring API reliability and backward compatibility • Experience driving API quality, observability, and operational excellence for multiple internal consumer teams • Strong experience building and scaling complex front-end applications • Ability to architect maintainable UI systems and collaborate across teams • React expertise preferred, with Redux or similar state-management solutions highly valued • Knowledge of software architecture patterns and developer tools • Experience mentoring, coaching, and performing code reviews • Broad technical skills, learning agility, and intellectual curiosity • Ability to work effectively in an agile environment • Proven track record solving complex, scalable architectural problems • Experience incrementally modernizing technical debt • Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours per day • Ability to operate computers and phone systems, type, and use multiple software programs simultaneously • Nice to have: experience with worked-time data systems, message brokers such as RabbitMQ, and containerization technologies such as Docker
