Descrição

• Conduct 60-minute virtual intake appointments to screen for obesity/overweight and determine individualized treatment plans. • Provide comprehensive clinical services, including medication management with GLP-1s and other anti-obesity medications and ordering/interpreting diagnostic labs. • Lead “Positive Parenting for Healthy Weight” Shared Medical Appointment groups. • Collaborate with behavioral health colleagues and refer to other services as appropriate. • Lead 30-minute medical follow-up appointments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans. • Complete clinical documentation and administrative work accurately and in a timely manner. • Collaborate with nursing staff on prior authorizations and care coordination. • Contribute directly to developing and iterating the Obesity and Overweight care model, workflows, and clinical tools.

🎯 Requisitos

• Licensed to practice medicine in California with active DEA registration. • Board certified in Pediatrics. • At least 5 years of patient care experience. • Deep interest or experience in Lifestyle Medicine, nutrition coaching, and physical activity. • Confidence using electronic medical records (EMR) and telemedicine tools for virtual care. • Experience working with families from diverse backgrounds and commitment to culturally responsive treatment. • Excitement about joining a fast-growing startup and iterating on new care models. • Board certification in Obesity Medicine preferred. • Spanish-speaking ability is nice to have. • Additional state licenses are nice to have, or willingness to obtain additional licenses with support. • Reliable, secure internet connection in a private, distraction-free setting for remote care. • Availability to provide care Monday through Friday during 8am–8pm Pacific Time business hours.
