Descrição

• Adapt Reddit’s platforms to an evolving privacy, security, and regulatory landscape • Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to build trusted, compliant experiences for millions of users • Influence technical and product strategy and help define a new product space • Own product areas end-to-end, from technical design and coding through testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch • Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives critical to Reddit’s business and platform integrity • Improve engineering workflows, set standards, and mentor engineers

🎯 Requisitos

• 5+ years of backend development experience across multiple backend stack areas, from databases and networking to efficient computing • Experience with Go, Python, Postgres, Redis, Thrift, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS • Experience as a tech lead on projects and teams with 3+ backend engineers • Ability to design and implement complex distributed systems operating under high load • Self-directed, innovative, action-oriented approach in fast-paced, ambiguous environments • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment • Ability to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences • Experience mentoring engineers, owning team processes, and leading cross-functional projects preferred
