Descrição

• Support Ryder's Continuous Improvement culture across the business • Apply continuous improvement methods to new and existing operations • Identify, lead, and drive operational change through data-driven continuous improvement, engineering, and automation efforts • Deliver improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth • Collect data, perform statistical analysis, and map/document processes • Identify process gaps and recommend and implement improvements • Develop and execute continuous improvement and transformation plans • Manage and complete high-impact continuous improvement projects • Support start-ups, retrofits, and expansions, including pricing inputs, go-live, and steady-state certifications • Identify and support automation projects • Interact regularly with account management and customers • Coach employees on continuous improvement, quality assurance, and Lean principles • Apply engineering methods including product slotting, labor standards/time studies, layouts, flow optimization, data profiling, and resource modeling • Supervise continuous improvement engineering and quality professionals as needed • Participate in hiring, coaching, and performance management with manager guidance • Facilitate and execute Value Stream Maps and Kaizen Events through planning, delivery, follow-up, and sustainment • Coach process owners on Lean methods and operational excellence • Report data and actions against site objectives • Make inventory and supply chain strategy recommendations • Design, implement, monitor, and maintain the QMS • Implement and monitor a standardized corrective action system • Support regulatory compliance and certification requirements • Perform Quality Assurance functions for start-ups or expansions • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain and seven (7) years or more related work experience in the Warehousing, Transportation, or Manufacturing industry; or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management and five (5) years related experience; if MBA, undergraduate degree in Engineering required • Seven (7) years or more related work experience in the Warehousing & Transportation and/or Manufacturing industry • Expert Microsoft Office Suite skills, with emphasis on Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio • Proficiency in Leader Standard Work, Visual Management Systems, Management Accountability Systems, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and 5S/Workplace Organization • Advanced understanding and experience in engineering and data analysis functions, including slotting, utilization, labor planning, layouts, and metrics • Ability to lead cross-functional and complex continuous improvement projects from beginning to sustained results • Lean Six Sigma certification required • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Flexibility, self-direction, multitasking, organization, and time management skills • Team management and system/change implementation skills • Up to 10%-15% travel • Data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau and database programming such as SQL and DAX preferred • Warehouse design tools such as CAD/AutoCAD, Slot3D, MOST, Warehouse Management Systems, and Labor Management Systems preferred • Knowledge of Warehouse Management operations, data analytics, Industrial Engineering, warehouse types, warehouse layout/design, Lean methods, material handling solutions, and automation preferred • Knowledge of Dedicated Services, Managed Transportation Networks, equipment types, transportation design tools, transportation management systems, and mapping software preferred • cPMP, ISO/QMS, and APICS and/or Supply Chain Logistics Certification preferred
