📋 Description

• Identify emerging trends and issues and present them to senior management • Perform complex data analysis for Commercial Claims aligned to business and portfolio objectives • Interpret proposals, evaluate findings and guide outcomes • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches and actionable insights • Conduct root-cause, cost-benefit, performance tracking, forecasting and exploratory analyses • Identify and interpret trends, risks and opportunities affecting client and portfolio performance • Formulate data-driven recommendations to improve operational efficiency, loss outcomes and business strategy • Collaborate with Claims, Product, Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance and Technology partners • Communicate insights, conclusions and recommended actions to senior leadership • Build relationships supporting adoption and execution of insights • Contribute to data pipelines, reporting frameworks and analytical standards • Establish consistent metric definitions, governance and scalable analytics practices • Support AI-enabled and automated analytics capabilities • Use industry data and knowledge to evaluate results in relation to the industry • Provide guidance, mentorship and coaching to junior analysts • Foster a collaborative, curious and high-performing culture • Research, analyze and present to various management levels and train staff on new tools and approaches • Travel as needed for divisional/team meetings and other in-person meetings

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of directly related analytical experience in a related industry required • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience • Expert in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL (Snowflake preferred), Visual Basic, data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and structured analysis and design techniques • Superior research, statistical, analytical, data processing and mathematical skills • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience • Ability to conduct meetings and deliver formal presentations • Ability to coach, mentor, evaluate and provide training, guidance and constructive feedback to staff • Strong oral and written communication skills • Expert knowledge of insurance, accounting and rate-making concepts • Ability to independently solve technical challenges using online resources • Demonstrated analytical agility and curiosity, with interest in technology • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment • Direct claims experience or analytical actuarial experience preferred • Pursuit or completion of industry-relevant continuing education, graduate degrees, MBS, insurance designations, or actuarial exams and designations preferred • 2–3 years mentoring experience • Advanced degree in related field preferred • Experience with insurance products, pricing, underwriting and commercial Claims Operations • Ability to travel as needed for divisional/team meetings and other in-person meetings • Applicants must have authorization to work indefinitely in the US • Mobilitas does not provide visa sponsorship
