📋 Description

• Develop and maintain scientific knowledge for credible dissemination to external experts and healthcare professionals • Build and nurture professional relationships with external experts and healthcare professionals • Participate in and follow up on investigator-initiated studies, clinical studies, and medical projects • Provide scientific support and maintain relationships with external experts and academic centres • Deliver scientific presentations to healthcare professionals individually or in groups • Participate in selecting qualified healthcare professionals for research, lecture, meeting support, advisory boards, congresses, and symposiums • Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences • Develop summaries of key data presented at scientific meetings • Coordinate scientific and medical engagement efforts across stakeholders within accounts • Develop interaction plans aligned with the Scientific Interaction Plan to achieve medical objectives • Communicate and collaborate with in-field team members to optimize business objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree required: PhD, PharmD, or M.D. • Relevant business experience with solid knowledge of the biotech/pharmaceutical industry • Previous experience as an MSL preferred • Relevant Dermatology background considered an asset • Previous experience in a customer-facing healthcare role • Experience presenting and/or interpreting scientific or clinical research publications • Knowledge of scientific methods applied to clinical research • Knowledge of current legislative and regulatory controls • Keen interest in developing and maintaining expert knowledge of the assigned therapeutic area, product, and medical research • English language proficiency, oral and written • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word • Comfort using various technologies, tools, and systems for day-to-day tasks • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time • Valid driver’s license and passport • Ability to understand stakeholder needs and integrate information into field-team engagement approaches • Ability to coordinate scientific and medical engagement efforts across stakeholders within an account • Ability to develop interaction plans aligned with the Scientific Interaction Plan • Ability to execute data-based business decisions and strategies • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with in-field team members
