📋 Description

• Work cross-functionally across the business to foresee potential accounting issues and recommend practical solutions • Review all new business activities to ensure timely identification of accounting and financial reporting matters • Prepare high quality accounting memorandums for senior management and auditors • Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional partners to understand contractual arrangements, transactions and operational structures • Provide accounting expertise, including options and recommendations for transaction structuring • Support financial audits with preparing audit requests, coordinating information requests, compiling technical accounting assessments • Participate in both formal and informal reviews with business to ensure financial statement disclosures are complete and accurate • Assist in the evaluation, maintenance, and performance of key controls over technical accounting

🎯 Requirements

• Accounting Degree and CPA required • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, (minimum 5 years in a leadership role) • Big 4 or Mid-Tier experience as a manager or Sr. Manager • Strong / Advanced Technical GAAP experience with ASC 230, 326, 606, 810, 815, 820, and 860 • Technical writing skills (memos and implementation documentation) • Financial Services or Fin-tech industry experience a plus • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills • Advanced excel skills • Oracle experience a plus
