📋 Description

• Manages incoming trailing documents, maintaining clear and accurate documentation on the progress and disposition of loan files • Performs data entry and pulls reports within Loan Origination System • Performs weekly follow-up and reviews with settlement companies and attorneys’ offices for missing or outstanding documents • Maintain a high level of expertise relative to all mortgage loan documentation required to satisfy post-closing deficiencies including but not limited to trailing documents, recorded security instruments, and final title policies • Work with investors and internal departments to manage defects found in the mortgage/Deed of Trust or Final Title Policy • Audit and ship closed loan files to investors • Ability to address suspense conditions received by investors in a timely manner • Performs other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years experience in mortgage operations • Processing or Underwriting experience preferred • Prior work experience with loan documents and title work • Strong working knowledge of Encompass, DU and LP software preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced work environment • Strong written and oral communication skills
