📋 Description
• Work with multi-discipline project teams to develop a range of engineering solutions from initial concepts to detailed design development and through construction • Responsible for the design and analysis of stormwater management systems to support site development projects • Includes sizing and designing stormwater detention/retention basins, preparing drainage calculations and reports • Reviewing municipal, county, and state stormwater ordinances • Coordinating with site civil designers to incorporate drainage requirements into overall site layouts • Creating models and plan sheets with AutoCAD Civil 3D • Design of roadways, or general site development • Developing quantity take offs and cost estimates • Developing technical specifications for contractor
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering plus 2 years of relevant civil engineering experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience • EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire date • Due to the nature of the role, United States Citizenship is required • Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices • Experience with creating models and plan sheets with AutoCAD Civil 3D • Experience with developing quantity take offs and cost estimates • Experience with developing technical specifications for contractors
