📋 Description

• Support the Design Manager in daily project coordination across disciplines for colocation and hyperscale data center projects • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes • Capture technical notes and coordinate with discipline leads to confirm accuracy • Attend client and stakeholder meetings and track decisions, risks, and action items • Track, manage, and communicate project changes internally and externally • Progress toward serving as backup Design Manager • Coordinate internal and external design meetings using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and client platforms • Track action items and follow up with internal teams • Distribute client communications and internal updates • Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawing revisions, and tracking logs • Update spreadsheets, dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools • Assist with specification edits, data entry, and internal reporting-system updates • Develop tracking mechanisms and suggest process improvements • Manage project files across SharePoint, MS Teams, Google Drive, and Box • Ensure QA/QC sets, daily prints, and deliverables are prepared and stored properly • Assemble and organize final deliverables • Support Design and Project Managers with technical and financial proposals for data center projects

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS plus 4 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • At least 2 years of experience working in A/E firms • Preferred: bachelor's degree in architecture, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering • Preferred: Professional Engineer (P.E.) or architecture license • Preferred: 4 years of relevant design and/or project management experience • Preferred: 1 year in colocation and/or hyperscale data center design management or engineering • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong organization skills • Ability to work in dynamic, time-sensitive situations • Ability to work remotely from a U.S. location where AECOM has an office • Occasional advance-scheduled travel may be required • Sponsorship is not available • Must attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office
