• Manage growing and talented Electrical Engineering team • Work remotely or at Energy offices located in multiple locations across the United States • Provide electrical engineering services across market sectors including industrial facilities, thermal power generation, transmission, power distribution, renewables, and next generation energy • Support Director of Engineering • Supervise and lead a team of electrical engineers • Provide mentorship to other electrical engineers • Lead improvements in project efficiencies • Develop task and deliverables list with associated hours estimate and schedules • Support projects through complete life cycle including feasibility phase, preliminary and detailed design, issue-for-bid, construction, start-up, and commissioning • Collaborate with multi-discipline technical leads to integrate electrical across projects • Monitor project progress and ensure quality, on-time and on-budget delivery of projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering • +10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience within industrial and/or power facilities or equivalent combination of experience/education • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license • 5+ years experience in team supervision • 7+ years as discipline technical lead on industrial or power generation projects • Physical design experience for industrial facilities • Demonstrated experience in participating complex, multi-discipline programs/projects and teams • Passion in developing talented technical teams • Experience on full EPC, Design/Build projects from start to finish. • Experience workshare with high value engineering centers • Field construction and commissioning experience • Successful experience working in remote and multi-discipline teams • Expert familiarity with industry codes and standards (NFPA, NEC, NESC, IEEE, etc.). • Expert familiarity of current building codes and standards • Power systems analysis software experience (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower) • Solar or BESS facility experience • Experience working in collaborative 3D model environments (e.g. Navisworks) • Active participation in industry or code committees
