• Oversee Federal environmental remediation projects • Manage and direct professional and technical staff completing complex environmental projects • Lead teams using advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices • Develop technical solutions to complex problems using existing technologies and experience • Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, and compare findings with relevant studies and regulations • Manage project invoicing, cash flow, financial statements, budgets, and budget tracking • Prepare work plans and organize project studies • Perform complex assignments and develop unique problem solutions with project team support • Supervise junior and mid-level staff throughout project phases • Conduct reviews and provide staff feedback • Report periodically to the area manager • Prepare proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders • Support business development • Lead Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessments, Treatability Studies, Remedial Design, and Remedial Action Construction • Travel overnight occasionally
• BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Valid US Driver's License • U.S. Citizenship required • Professional License (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or similar) preferred • 10+ years’ experience in environmental remediation project management preferred • Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related field preferred • Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations preferred • Experience managing environmental projects for Federal clients such as USACE, AFCEC, and Navy preferred • Thorough working knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA preferred • Experience managing teams and scheduling staff and resources • Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders • Experience leading Federal environmental project studies and remediation activities • Occasional overnight travel required
