📋 Description

• Develop and formulate solutions to client problems on assigned projects. • Under general direction, responsible for the creation of work plans and task definitions. • Has broad technical knowledge but possesses an area of specialization or focus. • Apply in-depth knowledge of ICT Infrastructure types and uses to perform complex and unique assignments including survey, design, development, and construction administration of ICT infrastructure projects. • Be responsible for ICT design and consulting for Data Centers, Structured Cabling Systems (SCS), Campus / Wide Area Networks (WAN), Passive Optical Networks (PON), Outside Plant (OSP). • Perform specific and/or limited ICT Design and Consulting duties as part of a team of expert Consultants. • Gather and correlate engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. • Work on detailed and/or routine design and/or consulting assignments. • Propose solutions to solve new and/or complex problems encountered. • Provide guidance and direction to internal mid-level consultants and production staff. • Perform work in accordance with the agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited college/university plus 8 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. • Current BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification. • Data Center experience. • U.S. citizenship is required. • A security clearance is preferred but not required (potential/desire to obtain a security clearance is required). • Minimum 5 years of design experience with ICT infrastructure. • Professional experience and/or proficiency in various software products, including Revit, AutoCAD, Visio Professional, Bluebeam Extreme (Revu), Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and other ICT Specific Programs. • Professional experience and/or proficiency in various Codes Standards and regulations including but not limited to Permitting, State & Local Ordinances, IEEE – C2 Standard (National Electrical Safety Code), OSHA - 1910 Standards, TIA – Cabling Standards, TIA – Data Center Standards and BICSI – TDMM and other Manuals.
