📋 Description

• Build foundational platform for launching Affirm products into international markets focusing on purchase protection (disputes and refunds) • Break down larger projects into tasks, deliver in multiple phases, and collaborate for timely delivery • Collaborate with product management, design & analytics to support product development lifecycle and articulate technical constraints • Support operations and availability by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating issues, and participating in on-call rotation • Engage in team growth activities including participating in interviews • Partner closely with European engineering counterparts and global Servicing Engineering organization to build scalable solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer • Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue • Experience designing, developing and launching APIs at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin • Ability to break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver in phases • Experience with debugging, navigating large codebases, and conducting code reviews • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Participation in on-call rotation (on-call required) • Comfortable supporting operations and availability (metrics, monitoring, escalation) • Willingness to participate in interview process and team growth activities • Based in Spain (must be located in Spain)
