📋 Description

• Architect Secure Cloud Solutions: Design end-to-end cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure that meet clients’ technical requirements and compliance needs. • Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code templates (e.g., Bicep, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines to provision and configure cloud environments. • Platform Guardrails & Best Practices: Establish cloud platform guardrails and guidelines for our engineering teams and clients. • Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Serve as a technical leader and mentor for Agile IT’s consulting and engineering teams. • Client Advisory & Pre-Sales Support: Act as a trusted advisor to our clients and prospects. • Thought Leadership: Contribute to Agile IT’s reputation as a thought leader in secure cloud enablement.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in cloud solutions engineering or architecture • Significant experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure • Experience with Azure Government or GCC High is strongly preferred • Expert-level knowledge of Azure services across IaaS and PaaS (compute, storage, networking, Azure AD/Entra ID, monitoring, etc.) • Hands-on skill in Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform) and automation pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent) • Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation is expected • Solid understanding of cloud security architectures and controls • Experience with compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST SP 800-171/53, FedRAMP) and implementing controls in cloud environments • Ability to interpret requirements from these frameworks and translate them into technical solutions (e.g., logging requirements, encryption standards, access control policies) • Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer, etc.) are highly desirable. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, not required
