• Create and revise protection/control drawings of high voltage transmission and distribution substations and lines including single line, logic, three line and schematic diagrams. • Peer review of other’s drawings. • Maintain drawing files – archived, current and working revisions. • Update drawings to field as-built conditions. • Provide project support/office support as required. • Occasional travel to field sites or working at a client’s office may be required.
• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology preferred, but not required. • 5+ Years’ Experience in Design of Transmission Level Substations (13.8kV – 500 kV) • Familiarity with microprocessor relays and associated options/functionality – SEL, GE, etc. • Good written and verbal communications skills • Ability to work well with others in a team setting • Skilled in problem solving in time-sensitive situations • Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD (2015 or later) – Advanced, required • Advanced/Intermediate in MicroStation – preferred • Intermediate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
