• Join the GoA’s Work Experience Program and gain hands-on experience in information security. • Collaborate with seasoned professionals to protect the GoA’s information assets. • Analyze security issues, identify threats, and develop effective solutions. • Support CyberAlberta initiatives and enhance cybersecurity strategies. • Participate in national programs for cybersecurity awareness.
🎯 Requirements
• A related two-year diploma in computer technology from a recognized post-secondary institution. • A strong interest and/or foundational knowledge of information security practices, including threat and risk management, incident response, and forensic investigation. • Applications must include a cover letter clearly detailing how your skills and experience align with the responsibilities of the role. This will be used to assess writing and communication skills. • Relevant certifications in cybersecurity or related fields (e.g., CEH, Security+, CISM, CCSP, CISSP, etc). • A related one-year certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution and one year of related experience.
