📋 Description

• Primary responsibility for the daily monitoring and surveillance of all customer activity • Primary responsibility for daily operational tasks including trading, new accounts, and cash management functions; • Cryptocurrency trading executions and exceptions (errors, corrections, etc.) • Assist with customer onboarding, including KYC and account approval • Review of general ledger accounts, identify and reconcile account discrepancies • Support the Anti-Money Laundering Program and investigations that result from suspected suspicious activity • Proactively drive impactful changes across workflows, policies and tools • Clearly communicate with internal and external partners in an effective, tactical, and insightful manner • Ad hoc duties and projects as assigned • Global remote location, core time around 9am to 5pm PT (working hours: 8 hours per day, holidays follow the US market holidays)

🎯 Requirements

• Excited about what Alpaca is building!! • 3+ years of relevant experience in a broker-dealer, financial services, trading or cryptocurrency operations role • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Familiarity with cryptocurrency, or strong desire to learn • Work effectively and supportively within a team environment as well as work independently • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Must possess the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and regulatory environment • Enjoys challenges and taking ownership of new responsibilities • Inspired by Alpaca’s mission and enthusiastic about supporting our customer base and growing the platform
