📋 Description

• Report to the Supervisor, Member Rescue • Act as one of the first points of contact for members calling for roadside assistance • Respond to high-volume inbound roadside assistance calls • Record member information thoroughly and correctly • Identify call locations and assign calls accordingly • Process road service requests accurately and efficiently using geographical skills • Determine the support required for priority calls • Stay current on AMA products, services, Roadside Assistance services, and systems • Learn AMA membership offerings and educate members about coverage and costs • Work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, for a 24/7 operation • Sit for extended periods of time

🎯 Requirements

• Open availability allowing a minimum of 16 hours per week • Preference for daily 10-hour availability starting between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM, at least 4 days per week • Availability for one Saturday or Sunday shift per week, or both weekend days one week and the next weekend off • Attendance at all Monday-to-Friday training classes from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM for up to 4 weeks • Availability for onsite equipment pickup • Private, secure, dedicated home office space free of distractions • Stable, high-speed internet • Smartphone device (Apple or Android) for two-factor authentication • Ability to pass a Canadian Criminal Record Check • High school diploma • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call centre environment • Clear communication, telephone etiquette, and professionalism • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new applications and systems • Availability to work varied shifts and sit for extended periods • Mapping software experience is a bonus
