📋 Description
• Grows assigned agency and manage local staff to address business objectives • Coaches and develops agents to meet insurance needs of policyholders and clients • Functions as the primary liaison between the Home Office and assigned sales agents • Recruits and develops agents • Increases agency’s growth and effectiveness by recruiting, orienting, training, coaching, and counseling insurance agents • Communicates values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results • Develops welcoming climate by offering value added information and opinions • Accomplishes agency objectives by recommending business plans and budgets • Generates new business by identifying and addressing opportunities in local market • Develops and maintains good relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and regulatory agencies • Increases profitability of proprietary product lines • Reviews growth results, recruiting, sales and activity reports to measure productivity and goal achievement
🎯 Requirements
• Five plus years’ experience in the insurance industry, preferably in marketing, sales and suitability capacity • Medicare, life and annuity product experience • Ability to work well within a team • Excellent time-management skills, ability to work within deadlines • Agency sales experience is a must
