📋 Description

• provide leadership for staff whose primary tasks are the adjudication and settlement of claims • manage the authority, guidance, and direction to Staff Council • create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment • communicate and support our organizations mission, vision, values and practices • lead teams to ensure delivery of services that exceed customer expectations • maintain awareness of existing and proposed legislation, court decisions and latest trends in claims litigation • participate in corporate claims initiatives including quality file handling, process improvement, training, and development of staff • prepare and manage annual operating budget • identify and implement opportunities for process improvements

🎯 Requirements

• demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service • demonstrated extensive knowledge of office and field claim handling processes • demonstrated thorough understanding of policy language, coverages and underwriting intent • demonstrated time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere company productivity guidelines • demonstrated claims handling experience and licensing • demonstrated ability to recognize developing problems/conflicts and ability to resolve • obtain state specific property casualty claims licensing as required • valid driver's license required plus an acceptable driving record
