• Arch Insurance Group homes in Bermuda-based specialty insurer; Arch partners with clients to deliver risk management and insurance solutions across all lines. • The Director, Multi Line Account Engineer will manage a dedicated underwriting team (5-10 underwriters) and oversee all lines (property, general liability, workers compensation, auto). • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, policyholders and brokers to manage service accounts and drive retention. • Conduct on-site and remote surveys to assess operations, exposures and hazard mitigation strategies. • Generate and review required reports and recommendations; meet deadlines. • Manage workload with third parties as needed; ensure quality of work. • Support technical training presentations for internal and external clients. • Requires 5 years of risk control experience; strong knowledge across lines; NFPA, FM, OSHA, DOT; MS Office; strong communication; ongoing learning. • Education: Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or safety related field; industry designations appreciated but not required
• Minimum 5 years of risk control experience with both account management and site/field surveys • Solid knowledge base and professional experience in the following areas: property, general liability, products liability, workers compensation, auto, and excess • Knowledge of NFPA, FM, OSHA, DOT and other relevant standards and best practices • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications • Phenomenal verbal and written communication skills and business acumen • Continued learning and application of new concepts to your role • Education: Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or safety related field with relevant insurance industry experience taken into consideration • Industry designations appreciated but not required
