📋 Description

• Define the mathematical profile of the game, including the game’s balance, volatility, and player experience • Create and maintain the game’s PAR sheets and other math documentation, using both Excel and simulations • Work closely with the Game Designer, prototyping team, and engineering team to ensure the math is implemented accurately and follows the overall game design • Playtest and iterate on your game’s math and mechanics with an eye toward creating the best player experience possible • Collaborate with other mathematicians to provide gameplay feedback and recommendations for improvement on each other’s games • Regularly play competitors’ games in the iGaming and land-based spaces to stay abreast of industry trends and new mechanics

🎯 Requirements

• Strong interest in casino games, especially slots, in iGaming and land-based markets • Experience developing math models for real-money slot games is a plus • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Expertise using Excel to model probabilities and perform data analysis • Familiarity programming in C++, C#, or Python • Excellent written communication skills, especially the ability to clearly communicate complex and technical concepts to stakeholders across the globe • Passion for games and learning industry trends, emerging game mechanics, and player expectations • Be comfortable moving between multiple projects while maintaining a high attention to detail • Bring strong organization and structure to a fast-moving environment • Have a passion for problem solving in complex systems • Obsess over detail and refinement • Provide, accept, and act on feedback constructively
