📋 Description

• Customer Invoicing: Manage billing cycles and ensure accurate, timely invoicing • Vendor Payments: Oversee accounts payable and maintain strong vendor relationships • Cash Management: Monitor bank accounts, reconciliations, and day-to-day treasury functions • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate day-to-day records of all financial transactions, ensuring clean ledgers and reconciliations that provide leadership with real-time visibility into Astra’s financial health • Monthly Close: Lead the preparation and accuracy of monthly financial closes • Compliance & Taxes: Partner with external tax accountants on annual returns and filings • Fundraising Support: Prepare financial materials and data packages for investors and board presentations • Process Building: Identify gaps and implement scalable procedures to support rapid growth • Taxes: Prep and management of annual tax obligations and reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or on track is a plus) • 2–4+ years of accounting experience, ideally at a fast-growing tech company or public accounting firm • Strong grasp of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting systems. Familiarity with SaaS billing or fintech operations is a plus • You love building structure where there isn’t any. Comfortable rolling up your sleeves, solving problems, and creating clarity in a fast-moving environment • Comfortable collaborating across Compliance, Risk, and Engineering teams • Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple customer evaluations simultaneously.
