📋 Description

• Develop and maintain detailed cost models for medical device components, subassemblies, and finished goods. • Create new cost sheets or revise existing cost models using ATL’s approved costing templates. • Ensure models accurately reflect: BOM structure and material sourcing, Country of origin requirements, Manufacturing routings and labor content, Equipment, tooling, and fixture needs. • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to validate routings, cycle times, and process assumptions. • Coordinate costing activities across ATL’s global manufacturing sites. • Participate in weekly Global Costing reviews. • Review customer RFQs and quote packages to identify technical gaps, assumptions, or risks. • Propose alternate designs, materials, or processes to improve cost or feasibility.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Biomedical, or similar) or a related technical discipline. • 2–5 years of experience in medical device manufacturing, engineering, costing, or operations analysis. • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, BOM structures, and production environments. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. • Experience working with ERP and PLM systems. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
