📋 Description

• The Assistant Controller position owns all accounting functions at our clients and will be responsible for issuing client financial statements, including thoughtful and value-added fluctuation analyses, developing financial models, and managing departmental budgets and forecasts. • The Assistant Controller also manages Attivo staff to own full-cycle month-end close, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and tax compliance. • Experience with developing financial models from the ground up and establishing policies and procedures within a corporation is highly preferred. • The ideal candidate has worked at or with early-stage start-ups and has a passion for helping companies scale and grow. • The position location is flexible/work from home, with preference given to candidates in the following cities where Attivo has an employee presence: San Francisco/Bay Area, Los Angeles/Southern California, New York City, Austin, and Boston. • Candidates in other locations welcome to apply. Some travel to in-person company events is required, approximately 2-3 weeks out of the year. • In-person onboarding training will take place within the first 3 months of employment (locations vary).

• Desire to work side by side with a variety of CFOs and want mentorship • Advanced+ Excel skills • Experience with standard software solutions: QuickBooks Online, Xero, Netsuite, Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, Carta • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Independent judgment and decision-making • Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities at a time • Professional curiosity & creativity • Passionate desire to learn & for continuous improvement
