📋 Description

• Lead our research practice in delivering strategic insights that directly influence innovation priorities and long-term product roadmaps • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing research team, including recruiting top talent and providing career guidance and performance management • Develop and execute research strategies that anticipate technology trends and their impact on customer needs, business objectives, and competitive positioning • Manage resource allocation and project prioritization to ensure research efforts align with business strategy and deliver maximum impact • Drive research excellence by setting methodology standards and implementing project governance to ensure consistent quality and delivery • Lead research initiatives across our broad platform portfolio, navigating the complexities of both consumer-facing and developer-focused products • Develop deep expertise in API ecosystems, understanding developer needs, integration challenges, and platform adoption patterns • Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies (AI/ML, platform ecosystems, APIs) and translate technological possibilities into research opportunities • Oversee the development and delivery of research reports and presentations, ensuring team outputs communicate complex findings in clear, actionable formats for stakeholders • Build strong stakeholder relationships and champion research that explores the intersection of AI, APIs, and consumer experiences

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of research experience with 4+ years in research management or leadership roles • Advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science (with HCI focus), Statistics/Data Science, Anthropology, Cognitive Science or related field • Proven track record of leading research that drives product strategy and business outcomes • Strong technical fluency with APIs, developer ecosystems, and emerging AI technologies • Experience conducting research across both consumer and B2B/developer audiences • Demonstrated ability to optimize team operations and establish effective prioritization frameworks • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence senior leadership
