📋 Description

• Oversee a team of Project Engineering, Electrical Controls Engineering, and Software Engineering • Act as manager and individual contributor supporting assigned projects from kickoff to site handover • Coordinate with Project Management, After Sales (Commissioning), Supply Chain, and Sales • Assign won projects to Project Engineering and support simulation efforts to validate throughput • Serve as technical single point of contact for integrator and end user engineering teams on assigned projects • Lead internal and external project kickoff meetings and participate in customer meetings • Review and analyze technical documentation to create detailed approval drawings for racking and robotics production • Coordinate creation of assembly drawings and PE-stamped drawings and provide information to order processing • Support project design, production, installation, and robotics commissioning to meet schedule and budget • Source materials and services in collaboration with Supply Chain and Project Management • Process change orders and communicate cost variances to Sales and Project Management • Collaborate with Electrical Controls and Software Engineering for electro-mechanical specifications and WCS/WES integration • Support Site Managers with technical issues, perform site visits for measurements and inspections, and assist on Sales calls • Prepare and present reports on ROI, project status, and strategic recommendations to senior management • Ensure proposed solutions meet industry standards and safety regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Automation Engineering, or a related field • Multiple years of management experience in the material handling industry with multi-technology integration • Multiple years of experience in post-sale engineering in material handling/warehousing with ASRS • Skilled in mechanical and robotic system design • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and project management skills • Ability to communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience • Willing and able to travel ~15–20% within the United States and occasionally to Canada; occasional travel to Belgium possible
