📋 Description

• Serve as the primary legal contact for assigned California hospitals, providing day-to-day legal counsel to hospital leadership and operational teams. • Research and analyze federal and California healthcare laws and regulations to advise on regulatory compliance, operational legal issues, and risk management. • Draft and review contracts, legal memoranda, policies, procedures, guidance documents, and training materials. • Advise on a broad range of healthcare regulatory and hospital operations matters, including patient care, licensing, accreditation, and medical staff issues. • Independently manage legal matters while collaborating with the broader legal team on specialized or escalated issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Active California Bar license required. • 5–8 years of legal experience. • Experience practicing healthcare regulatory law, either in-house or at a law firm. • Prior experience advising hospitals, health systems, or healthcare providers. • Strong legal research, writing, drafting, analytical, communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving skills.
