📋 Description

• Lead the design of complex, multi-domain healthcare solutions using Azure, AWS, and hybrid architectures • Architect AI/ML-enabled applications for predictive analytics, clinical decision support, and operational efficiency • Define and enforce architecture governance across HIPAA, HITECH, PCI, NIST 800-53, and internal security standards • Develop cloud adoption roadmaps, including Azure or AWS Landing Zones and hybrid connectivity • Evaluate and select vendor solutions based on innovation, cost, compliance, and operational readiness • Create and maintain architectural artifacts, archetypes, reference architectures, and capability roadmaps • Provide thought leadership in AI ethics, data governance, and healthcare-specific deployment strategies • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, executives, clinicians, IT leaders, senior leadership, stakeholders, and vendor partners • Align technology strategies with Banner Health’s mission and business goals • Deliver architectures, strategies, and guidance supporting strategic initiatives and improving patient outcomes and operational performance • Mentor junior staff and architects or engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience • 10 years of progressive IT experience in development, infrastructure, or systems analysis • 4+ years of solution or enterprise architecture experience • Must obtain an approved architecture or ITIL certification within one year of hire: Microsoft Certified Azure Solution Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect, TOGAF Certified Architect, or ITIL Intermediate • Proven experience in cloud-based healthcare solutions, including AI/ML deployments • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, interoperability, and security • Remote work eligibility limited to residents of AL, AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV, or WY • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in healthcare or a regulated industry • Preferred: 5+ years designing solutions utilizing AI components • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Proven mentorship of junior architects or engineers • Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert, AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect • Additional related education and/or experience preferred
