📋 Description

• Manage HIM applications and data management • Manage HIM System Analysts supporting all HIM services, functions, reports, and analytical data • Manage HIM analytics reporting, HIM applications, and HIM access • Serve as the primary HIM liaison with IT to ensure successful BHSF projects, new system implementations, system upgrades, and proper maintenance • Ensure successful transition of HIM services related to acquisitions and/or new services • Plan and oversee HIM projects, including issue documentation, follow-up, and resolution • Support BHSF projects and initiatives requiring Project Manager knowledge and expertise • Establish appropriate system user access

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HIM Administration, Health Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering required • Master’s in Information Science (MIS) preferred • Certified Project Manager Professional (PMP/PRINCE II) preferred • 10 years of experience in a large, multi-hospital health system required • Extensive knowledge of HL7 interface application, EMR integration, database structures and schema, and computer scripting • Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector • Solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies • Solid organizational, analytical, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills • Excellent client-facing, internal, written, and verbal communication skills • Excellent computer proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and exemplary customer service • Ability to work independently and complete assignments within prescribed instructions, routines, and accepted practices
