📋 Description

• Responsible for application and integration of information technology in the healthcare setting • Serve as a liaison between the IT department and operations to align system design with operational processes • Data collection, workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, and support • Participate in application deployment and procedure documentation • Ensure that the software build meets organizational goals and external mandates such as HIPAA and Meaningful Use • May have duties instructing, directing and checking the work of other Application Analysts, personnel, and project team members • Acts as project leader for projects with moderate to large budgets or system-wide implications, multiple projects of a short to long-term duration, and medium to large projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy/Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Pharmacist License (KY or IN) required • Recent/relevant technical experience in medication management integrated with an EHR preferred • Appropriate certifications or licensures required within 6 months of hire.
