📋 Description
• We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Research Associate to support our efforts in identifying and understanding capital sources available to early-stage ventures like Rosi Giving. • This role will focus primarily on researching pre-seed and seed capital providers, including venture capital firms, angel investors, accelerators, and other early-stage funders. • The role will also involve identifying other relevant funding opportunities such as grants, SBA loans/grants, and mission-aligned philanthropic funding sources. • This position offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with the C-suite of a dynamic social impact startup, and play a critical role in shaping its financial strategy and growth path.
🎯 Requirements
• Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information • Excellent written communication and organizational skills • Familiarity with startup funding stages and/or nonprofit grant structures preferred • Self-starter who can work independently and manage time effectively • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and other collaborative tools • Background in business, finance, nonprofit management, or related field a plus
