📋 Description

• Break down common residential electrical issues • Clarify what is urgent versus what can wait • Estimate realistic costs for materials, labor, and permitting • Advise on repair timeframes and typical repair options • Contribute to report templates and educational content • Interact directly with homeowners via Zoom • Record short explainer clips or avatar content • Provide subject matter expertise to help develop tools for homeowners

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of residential electrician experience • Licensed electrician preferred but not required if expertise can be demonstrated • Experience with panel upgrades, old wiring, lighting, circuits, and a wide range of residential electrical issues • Experience speaking with homeowners and communicating clearly • Ability to explain technical issues in understandable terms • Understanding of repair timelines and cost ranges, including parts, labor, and permits • Comfortable using Zoom and handling video calls and recordings • Experience reviewing or writing inspection-style reports is a bonus • Comfortable giving clear opinions on whether issues are severe, fixable, or fine as-is • Interest in shaping tools that make homeownership easier
