• Explain and diagnose common residential plumbing issues • Provide insight into root causes of slow drains, backups, water pressure problems, pipe failures, and other issues • Provide cost ranges and repair timelines, including parts, labor, and permitting • Identify urgent issues, issues that can wait, and potential prior misdiagnoses • Clarify plumbing options based on home type, construction era, and materials such as galvanized, copper, and PEX • Support creation of content, templates, and internal training materials • Meet homeowners via Zoom • Record short videos or clips as needed
• 3+ years of experience in residential plumbing • Licensed plumber preferred but not required if the candidate can demonstrate deep knowledge • Experience with varied plumbing systems, materials, and issues across different housing eras • Knowledge of failure points and typical lifespans of piping, fittings, fixtures, and drainage systems • Understanding of plumbing issues that have been misdiagnosed or poorly repaired • Clear, comfortable communication with homeowners and team members • Confidence using Zoom • Comfortable being recorded occasionally • Familiarity with inspection-style reports is a bonus • Ability to translate technical findings into clear summaries or guidance is a bonus • Interest in helping build homeowner decision-support tools is a bonus
