📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • Senior Consultant - Army Financial Improvement (AFI) Program • Support audit response, remediation, and sustainment efforts in collaboration with Army stakeholders and service providers. • Contribute to the implementation and documentation of internal controls in line with the Army’s RMIC program and federal financial management standards. • Assist with corrective action plan execution, internal control testing, and financial reporting process improvements. • Collaborate on policy development, training efforts, and standardized business process documentation. • Provide support for data analysis, financial system evaluations, and reconciliation improvements. • Work with client teams to ensure coordination across Commands and functional areas in support of audit goals and financial improvement initiatives. • Participate in strategic communications and change management activities to support program adoption.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in federal financial management. • One of the following: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Management/Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a directly related field, or an active and current certification: CPA, CIA, CISA, CGFM, CDFM, PMP, SAFe, or ITIL. • Clearance: Interim Secret or above required.
