• Safely operate several types of Class 3 units at the Imperial Oil site (Kearl) • Operate Combo Vac units • Perform tasks in all weather conditions • Complete daily logbooks, customer work orders, field-level risk assessments, and pre/post-trip inspections • Follow task instructions from Dispatch or Supervisor • Complete daily housekeeping of the assigned truck • Attend toolbox and safety meetings • Follow corporate and site safety regulations and procedures • Maintain and operate BME tools and equipment to required standards • Keep all training current • Follow TDG and WHMIS standards and regulations • Seek continuous improvement opportunities • Provide customer-focused services
• Valid Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract • Minimum 3 years of experience, including up to 18-speed manual Class 1 or 3 equipment • Previous or related experience operating Combo Vac units • Mine drive experience is an asset • Mechanically inclined and physically fit • Ability to work in all kinds of weather • Clear verbal and written communication skills • OSSA or BSO/CSO certification • CSTS certification • Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) • Daily Trip Inspections certification • Provincial Hours of Service for Alberta certification • Weights and Dimensions certification • Cargo Securement for flatbeds certification • WHMIS certification • H2S Alive certification • Successful completion of BME driver’s evaluation • Successful completion of pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screening • Successful completion of fit-for-duty pre-employment screening • Legally eligible to work in Canada
