📋 Description

• Support the branch and/or region in achieving business objectives through operational support and management of sales compliance and regulatory requirements • Foster a culture aligned with BMO’s purpose, values, and strategy • Connect work to BMO’s purpose, set goals and expected outcomes, and ensure accountability • Build interdependent teams and collaborate across functional and operating groups • Attract, retain, coach, recognize, and develop employees; manage poor performance • Provide input to market business development plans • Address client concerns and escalations • Perform risk assessments and compliance monitoring; recommend risk and regulatory solutions • Analyze issues, data, and strategic problems to provide insights and recommendations • Support strategic plans and initiatives with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators • Track initiative metrics and milestones and ensure stakeholder alignment • Coordinate databases in accordance with data governance standards • Monitor performance, identify issues, and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards • Lead or participate in change management and communications activities • Prepare compliance monitoring and risk assessment documentation and findings • Execute administrative reviews, regulatory filings, and transaction reporting • Maintain branch organization, delegation templates, and policies and procedures • Supervise cash and securities responsibilities and operational compliance • Lead operational programs and assess execution quality • Act as a subject matter expert on business applications and systems • Monitor operational controls and support corrective actions • Source sales and service professional candidates • Support trainee mentorship and supervise performance during and after the 18-month training period • Design, implement, and manage core business/group processes and programs • Develop tools and training programs and deliver training as needed • Provide administrative and operational support for financial and transactional processing, account processing, documentation, and compliance • Maintain service standards, escalate irregularities, and follow risk and compliance policies • Protect the Bank’s assets and comply with regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 5–7 years of relevant experience • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Sales and service experience preferred • In-depth operational experience • Supervisory/leadership experience • In-depth experience with financial planning products and related technologies • Must meet licensing and certification requirements for the team, branch, and jurisdiction where the mandate is fulfilled • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience • In-depth verbal and written communication skills • In-depth collaboration and team skills • In-depth analytical and problem-solving skills • In-depth influence skills • In-depth data-driven decision-making skills
