📋 Description

• Oversee the daily and full-cycle fund accounting operations for multiple fund entities • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, accounting standards, internal policies, GAAP, and IFRS • Coordinate annual audits and liaise with internal and external auditors • Develop, monitor, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures • Oversee portfolio investment valuation and accurate calculation of net asset values (NAV) • Provide analytical support for fund performance reporting and management decision-making • Manage and mentor a team of fund accountants • Reconcile cash, positions, and other transactional data; identify and resolve discrepancies • Support automated solutions to streamline accounting processes and reporting • Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in fund accounting, preferably within asset management or financial services in an Alternative Investment environment • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS • Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and data management tools • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement • Team-oriented mindset with interest in mentorship and knowledge sharing
