📋 Description

• Manage the full cycle of fund accounting, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and annual tax reporting • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and accounting standards while preparing and reviewing financial reports • Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations • Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors to facilitate timely completion • Develop and monitor accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and financial controls • Ensure compliance with tax policies • Provide analytical support for fund performance reporting and develop insights for management decision-making • Provide insightful financial and tax analysis and reporting to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in fund accounting and taxation, preferably within an asset management or financial services environment. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS and Canadian Income Tax Act. • Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools, with advanced Excel skills • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work independently • Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA or CFA) preferred • Experience with fund administration systems and data analytics tools preferred • Strong understanding of investment products and financial markets preferred
