📋 Description

• Manage financial reporting for our omnichannel, vertically integrated infant formula manufacturing business, including internal and external reporting, consolidation and close • Develop and document accounting policies and controls; perform technical accounting interpretation, audits, and taxes • Work closely with external accounting partners and internal stakeholders and perform complex accounting tasks • Support manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis to drive operational efficiency • Own and support all aspects of our accounting and reporting processes • Drive and manage the execution of close and consolidation to ensure financial statements are produced to support business decision-making and meet reporting deadlines • Provide analytical support and decision-making tools for complex accounting and reporting areas • Partner with Commercial teams to manage retail finances via margins, chargebacks, etc. • Improve upon and manage the implementation of new accounting standards, policies, controls and processes • Analyze trends in KPIs including revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures and headcount • Handle all monthly accounting close activities, including consolidation of all financial data and preparation of internal and external financial statements • Develop automated reporting and dashboards for financial and operational metrics • Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends and analyze causes of unexpected variance • Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analysis and prepare presentations to senior management and business unit leaders • Build and scale the accounting team, including hiring and onboarding an Accountant

🎯 Requirements

• 7-10 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role as a Controller • Deep expertise in NetSuite with the ability to manage and optimize the platform to meet business needs and the ERP system integrations • Experience in Cost Accounting and vertically-integrated manufacturing environments is highly desirable • Strong commercial experience in an omni channel environment, with retail experience • CPA required, and MBA strongly preferred • Proven ability to develop and implement robust accounting policies, controls, and processes • Demonstrated experience building and scaling a team • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards • A player-coach mindset with a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
