📋 Description

• Remote senior accountant role overseeing bookkeeping services for a set of clients • Set up services for new clients: assess needs and coordinate international bookkeeper teams • Serve as high-level accounting resource and manage communication/expectations with clients • Supervise and support bookkeepers during ongoing services • Opportunities for specialization: service set-up only, supervision only, industry specialization, Controller/CFO services, management • No basic bookkeeping required (role supervises bookkeepers); no tax work required

🎯 Requirements

• 4-5 years of work experience • Experience handling accounting for multiple companies (in-house or firm) • Titles indicating fit: Controller, Finance Manager, Full Charge Bookkeeper, Director of Accounting, VP of Finance, CFO, Senior Accountant • Management experience valuable but not required • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or Desktop • Excel expertise preferred • Excellent professional communication skills; fluent in English (written and spoken) • Highly organized with strong time management skills • Able to build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor • Tech-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly • Adaptable, fast learner; comfortable solving new problems • Experience supervising bookkeeping teams • CPA and/or ProAdvisor a plus but not required • Not required to perform tax work
