📋 Description

• Lead case strategy and handle files independently including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and court appearances. • Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and other court filings with attention to detail and accuracy. • Maintain strong communication with clients and claims professionals. • Accurately track billable hours and ensure proper invoicing. • Serve as a mentor for junior attorneys and paralegals.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. • Must be currently barred in New York. • A minimum of five to eight years of experience in litigation, must include insurance defense. • Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume caseloads with autonomy. • Experience appearing for mediation, arbitration, settlement conferences. • Trial experience (second chair trial experience considered). • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and court filings with detail and accuracy. • Experience conducting training or supervising junior attorneys.
