📋 Description
• Provides insurance verification for insured patients • Informs patients of financial obligation at time of service and when prior authorization or referrals are required • Responds to all internal and external phone calls regarding patients’ insurance verification inquiries • Processes and posts patient payments in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with department policies, procedures and performance goals
🎯 Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent • Customer service experience • 2 years of experience working for or with medical insurance companies in a healthcare setting • Experience in verifying eligibility and benefit limits
