📋 Description

• Communicates with insureds, agents, producers, or other representatives via telephone, live chat, and email on new and renewal business inquiries, policy servicing matters, FNOL and claims status requests. • Represents Underwriting team by responding to inquiries or initiating contact with assigned Agents and/or Producers regarding Underwriting actions, decisions, and next steps within designated authority levels. • Perform pre-underwriting, underwriting and routine to advanced endorsement tasks depending on level of authority, including obtaining and maintaining insured information, processing endorsements, preparing new business submissions, completing underwriting referrals, and processing authorized cancellations. • Make informed, well-documented decisions to review, underwrite, endorse, refer, and/or release policies for issuance or renewal; research, organize, and provide underwriting analyses and recommendations for new and renewal files. • Efficiently utilize Company information systems, software programs and approved applications to carry out responsibilities. • Maintain specialized policy services files and records, sort and index policy services and claims emails, research and update returned mail, and provide general technical and administrative support. • Spearhead, participate in, and assist with special Company projects as directed.

🎯 Requirements

• License: Current Florida 4-40 Customer Service Representative license or the equivalent in state of residence • Education: 1-2 years post-secondary education or commensurate, related experience is required. 2-4 years post-secondary education is preferred. • Experience: 3-5 years related customer service and administrative support experience in property and casualty insurance field.
