📋 Description

• Provide leadership of the firm-wide Mental/Behavioral Health Market of CannonDesign over $10.0M in revenue per year, developing and leading high-performance diverse teams focused on the development and implementation of the Submarket Business Plan. • Focus on strategic activities and top-tier client pursuits that support growth and impact of the submarket, including external brand opportunities. • Develop and implement a business plan leveraging Market Intelligence focused on future growth strategies, resource needs, and brand opportunities. • Develop and position CannonDesign for new business opportunities with premier target clients to support a minimum 10% growth of the submarket year over year and personal goal of $5.0M per year in net signed fees. • Lead, engage and partner with clients on billable project-specific work, serving as client leader and/or subject matter expert where appropriate. • Act as a leading voice for the submarket externally and internally, visible in speaking events, writing and other activities that promote the firm and our work. • Collaborate with Regional Director, Regional Process Director, Office Practice Leader, and Market Leaders to ensure business plan bottom line initiatives are successfully implemented and achieve firm’s profitability goals. • Recruit top tier talent, mentor and coach staff to develop future leaders, take ownership for growth of a diverse and inclusive team.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design or engineering or a relevant field. • Current Registration/Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering preferred. • Additional certifications and/or training relevant to this role are preferred. • Must have a minimum 15 years of experience in the Mental/Behavioral Health Market within the Design Industry (A/E/C) with a preference for 20 years of related experience. • Must have a proven track record of top line, strategic growth, market and team leadership, and business development success in the Mental/Behavioral Health Market within the Design Industry (A/E/C). • Strong presentations skills are essential. • Exceptional client and people leadership skills required. • Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy is needed. • Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully is essential. • Ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing, accountable teams. • Must be able to demonstrate sound judgement and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation. • Some travel required.
