📋 Description

• Manage and mentor a high-performing global FP&A team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Develop and oversee the annual budget, long-range financial plans, and forecasting processes, aligning financial strategy with Canva's ambitious growth objectives. • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze financial results, and provide insightful reporting and analysis to senior leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (including Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Sales) to provide financial expertise and support strategic decision-making. • Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives, providing rigorous financial modeling and recommendations. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function. • Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and presentations to the executive team and the Board of Directors. • Scale financial systems and processes with a focus on automation and AI-driven insights.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior finance leader within a global, high-growth technology company. • Deep understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling techniques. • A strong command of SaaS metrics: ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, etc. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and influence business strategy. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. • Experience building and leading high-performing teams in a global, fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan, and AI-driven technology).
