📋 Description

• Serve as a liaison between WVU Research Office and ITS Research Administration Applications team • Provide business process solutions and technical support for research needs • Elicit and identify business requirements and address usability concerns • Document business requirements and comprehensive solutions for multiple projects • Support team members throughout project lifecycle and software development lifecycle • Manage written communications between stakeholders and internal business units • Create and manage functional requirement documents for software applications • Manage product bugs and feature enhancement requests using standard issue tracking software (Jira) • Coordinate and assist with system testing and production validation • Provide quality assurance testing to facilitate system enhancements and bug fixes • Maintain professional relationships with colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree • A minimum of four (4) years of combined experience involving: Implementing business practices and strategies, Collaborating with business units to gather requirements, Experience in an IT field • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered. • Knowledge of Information Technology field, best practices, organization, and operations • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Attention to details • Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities • Expertise in using MS Office tools including Word, Excel and Visio • Strong customer relationship skills • Superior presentation and negotiation skills • Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments • Experience with ticketing/issue tracking software
