📋 Description

• Monitor computer networks & infrastructure for suspicious activity (SIEM, XDR etc. • Investigate and respond to security alerts/incidents, documenting actions and follow-up. • Operate and maintain core security tools (firewalls, email filtering, endpoint protection, threat detection systems). • Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation. • Implement and maintain security controls (access management, encryption, patching). • Contribute to security awareness efforts across teams. • Assist in maintaining security policies, procedures, and technical documentation. • Act as the first line of support for security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents, investigate them & document them accordingly. • Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs. • Work with the rest of the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities. • Coordinate fixes for detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard. • Stay informed on current IT security trends and news. • Perform basic penetration testing & vulnerability assessments. • Assist with the implementation and management of information security systems. • Be an Information Security champion consistent with cybersecurity best practices. • Manage and operate all security tools and technology used by the security analysts and SOC teams to provide protection and regulatory compliance; Devise security solutions or enhancements; Act as a liaison and uphold healthy intra-team communications as well as with other functions & business stakeholders as necessary. • Report on the state of cyber security within the company to the business stakeholders and internal management on a scheduled basis;

🎯 Requirements

• +5 years working experience in a similar role. • A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or related industry. • Experience with the functionality and maintenance of Firewalls, Office 365 Security, VSX and Endpoint Security. • Experience in one of the following: Python, JS, Node, Go and/or PowerShell. • Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques. • Work as a Tier2 support for incident management and on-call. • Proactive, improvement-focused, and able to work independently. • Able to communicate technical risks clearly to non-technical people. • Calm under pressure and good at prioritizing. • Collaborative and team-oriented. • Experience of DevSecOps (security as code) is considered a plus. • Qualifications such as CISSP, CISM are considered a plus.
