📋 Description

• Design, configure, and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure routing. • Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and respond to security threats. • Implement network segmentation and zero-trust principles to minimize attack surfaces. • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on network devices. • Collaborate with system administrators and cybersecurity teams to align network configurations with security best practices. • Manage and document firewall policies, access control lists (ACLs), and change requests. • Respond to security incidents involving network infrastructure and participate in root-cause analysis. • Evaluate new tools and technologies to strengthen network security posture.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in network security engineering or related roles. • Strong hands-on experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) and VPN technologies. • Proficient in network protocols, routing, switching, and network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds). • Understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, or similar security frameworks. • Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, CompTIA Security+, or CEH are highly desirable.
